Customs filings
before the label prints.

HS codes and country of origin live on the product in Selveo. When an order routes to a carrier with electronic customs support, the data goes with it automatically — inside the same pack flow that prints the label. No carrier portals, no parallel data to maintain.

Customs as data, not pack-station improvisation

Cross-border shipments require every order line to carry an HS code, a country of origin and a declared value. In most setups this gets filled in by hand at the pack bench, or after the label prints, as a separate task in the carrier's portal. Selveo inverts that: customs data lives on the product from day one and routes with the order, so the carrier Selveo is already talking to receives the full payload in the same call.

Which carriers are supported

Electronic customs transfer needs an API on both sides — Selveo keeps the integration alive, the carrier keeps the channel open. The list grows as carriers open their channels; we don't announce support we haven't tested in production. For routes or carriers without an electronic path, Selveo falls back to ready-to-attach PDF paperwork in the pack flow.

  • DHL Express — electronic filing of commercial invoice and customs data
  • GLS — electronic customs declarations on cross-border routes
  • Bring — electronic customs transfer between Norway and the EU
  • PostNord international — CN22/CN23 electronic where the route supports it
  • Other carriers — ready-to-attach PDF paperwork in the pack flow

What you get

Built for teams that don't have time for half-measures.

Customs data on the product, not the order

HS tariff code, country of origin, material description and net weight live as master data on the product. Maintained once, used across every carrier and every market.

Electronic filing where the carrier supports it

For DHL, GLS and Bring, the customs payload travels with the same call that requests the label. The packer sees a cleared label — the customs work is already out the door.

Ready-to-attach paperwork where it doesn't

Where a carrier or route still requires paper customs (CN22, CN23, commercial invoice), Selveo generates the PDFs automatically and queues them next to the shipping label at the pack station.

One catalogue across markets

The same product master drives filings to every market you sell into. No per-market shadow catalogues, no separate UK columns after Brexit.

IOSS and low-value handling

EU consignments under €150 are filed against your IOSS number; Norway-bound parcels are tagged for VOEC. The rules follow the order, not the packer.

Traceable per order

Selveo stores which customs payload shipped with which order, so any past quarter's filings can be reconstructed if a tax authority or auditor comes asking.
